  7. This latest version of PCB-REWARD is now FULL FUNCTIONAL.  It is
  8. not crippled in any way.  The unregistered version will simply
  9. place a message in the Bulletin or News file that it is an
  10. Evaluation copy and to please register it.  Once your copy is
  11. registered, this message will no longer appear.  
  12.  
  13. It has also been improved to allow you to reward up to 99 users
  14. with one of two security levels.  A future version will allow you
  15. to specify to number of users to reward with each level.
  16.  
  17. This latest release also adds the ability to place the reward
  18. notice in your News file, as a Bulletin, or both.  If you place it
  19. in the News file, it will use a special character that will allow
  20. the reward message to be placed at the top of the file and
  21. overwrite the old notice without affecting the remainder of the
  22. news file.

  24. INSTALLING THIS VERSION

  28. You MUST run your old version of REWARDxx with the /NEW switch
  29. prior to installing and running this new version !!!  This is
  30. MANDATORY in that Version 1.5 must start with a unrewarded users
  31. file, or your users file MAY BECOME CORRUPTED !!!  The command line
  32. for this is:

  34.           REWARDxx REWARD.CFG /NEW
  35.   where xx = old version number.  
  36.  
  37. Of course, be sure to use the .CFG name that you are currently
  38. using.

  42. Copy REWARD16.EXE to the directory that you are currently executing
  43. REWARDxx from.  You MUST reset all users prior to running this 
  44. version.  Instructions are shown above.

  46. After resetting the users, substitute REWARD16 in place of REWARDxx
  47. in your Event.sys file.  
  48.  
  49. You must also add some information to the .CFG file that you are
  50. using.  Please examine the SAMPLE.CFG file and/or REWARD16.DOC for
  51. information on the new settings.  This version WILL NOT work
  52. without these changes.
